USE YOUR ARTISTIC TALENT

Who needs an art portfolio?

Apply to art/design college

Consider applying to an art or design program if you’re an aspiring artist. There is a good chance that you have seen an application requirement for a portfolio highlighting your creative background. Portfolios are often as important (and sometimes even more so) than college applications as a whole. The creative story you tell through your portfolio is influenced by a variety of factors.

Do I need an art portfolio for selective colleges?

You can use these skills to your advantage in the admissions process. It will always be a highly subjective decision whether or not to submit an art portfolio. You should consider submitting an art portfolio with strong and creative ideas that will impress the untrained eye.

How do I make an art portfolio for grad school?

The master of art/design program is something you’re seriously considering. Creating your portfolio is an important first step in the application process that will help you hone your skills and push you to reach new heights.
