Art is a lifelong conversation.

Studio for Mentorship
I’ve always believed that York Fine Arts is more than just a studio; it’s a nurturing space where technical mastery meets personal discovery. As an MFA artist and former professor, I’ve brought the rigor of my classical training from the New York Academy of Art to students of all levels—but if you ask me where my true passion lies, it’s in the relationships we build within these walls.
In my studio, we don’t just teach students how to paint; we grow alongside them.
My teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in long-term mentorship. Many of my students have been part of our studio ‘family’ for five to twelve years—and in many cases, even longer.
I’ve had the immense joy of watching them grow from curious children into confident artists, designers, and young professionals. I am especially proud to see my students carry their creative foundation into diverse fields, with many pursuing successful careers in medicine and other professional disciplines.
To me, the most profound artistic growth happens through a shared life journey—sharing art, navigating challenges, and discovering the world’s beauty together.

Travel for Purpose
Since 2023, I’ve also invited my students and their families to join me on cultural exchange & impact trips. These journeys are a way for us to step outside the studio, using art as a bridge to connect with the world and give back through purposeful service.
For those preparing for their next big chapter, I feel deeply honored to walk beside my students during their most pivotal years. I provide personalized, high-level guidance for university portfolio development, helping them find their own unique voice so they can stand out in the global academic landscape.
Whether we meet online or in my New Jersey studio, I invite you to join a community where art is practiced with heart—where every student is seen as a fellow traveler on this beautiful creative path.
We don’t just teach students how to paint; we walk beside them as they find their own colors.
